Chichen Itza, one the New Seven Wonders of the World, is a Mayan archeological site in the north of the Yucatan Peninsula. Located 74 miles from Merida and 2 hours from Cancun, it is considered as the capital of the ancient Maya empire and was an important ceremonial center. Allow yourself to be transported back to prehispanic times and discover the secrets of its magical buildings, like the impressive Kukulkan pyramid, the most extraordinary monument in Chichen Itza, towering 75 feet high.
